Being new to wedding photography, I recognize the importance of shooting for free. I’ve offered my services to shoot as a second shooter or assist to other photographers, but they don’t seem to be interested. I often see online posts by couples looking for free or cheap sessions. If I shoot their wedding for free, how do I approach the other part of equation – pictures? They expect to receive hi res images as digital files from this deal. As a portraiture photographer I would offer collection of prints, album or oversized wall art. Do I go ahead and give them digital files for no cost on their site?
